Waterman is a private equity firm established in 2004 to provide later stage expansion funding and capital for mid-market buyouts in New Zealand. Waterman has a long term, value adding investment philosophy and takes a prudent approach to borrowing.
Waterman was founded by executive directors, Matt Riley and Chris Marshall. Both directors have in excess of 12 years private equity experience in New Zealand and are regarded as the most experienced team in the lower mid-market space. They have personally been substantial investors in each of Waterman's funds ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
