Express Logistics Group Limited (ELG) is pleased to announce it
has entered into a conditional agreement with Lyttelton Port of
Christchurch (LPC) to purchase the businesses and assets of the
International division of New Zealand Express (2005) Limited
(NZE).
ELG is a leading New Zealand based international logistics
service provider, offering a complete range of freight forwarding
and customs brokerage services.
"This acquisition provides further depth and scale to our
existing New Zealand branch network," said ELG Managing Director,
Graeme Mann. "Pending completion, we look forward to providing
enhanced service levels to NZE's international clients through the
combined strengths of NZE's international division and ELG."
Settlement for the transaction is set for 7 April 2006.
